A pause today to remember all who perished on September 11, 2001, both those who were attacked as they traveled or worked, and those who ran into the horror to assist them. A moment to honor those who serve us still in our Armed Forces, law enforcement, and fire departments, who forgo safety and comfort to insure our own.
A prayer for those families who must share such a rending personal loss with the world, for whom this day is forever dark.
The quiet blue of a September sky will never be the same.

thx for the reminder missy. i've been so in my own head the last couple days. i needed the pause indeed. it seems like just a yr or so ago when walked through that day in such close proximity.
getting back in the swing of things today. n got weighed at doc's and is doing great; he's eating much better- but we still have a little ways to go. anyway, love ya.
